Welcome to the Summerland Ornamental Gardens. We're pleased that you've dropped in for a visit to our virtual garden site. The cyber-garden is a small taste of the feast of scents and colour that await your visit in-person here in the heart of Canada's Okanagan Valley in beautiful British Columbia.

2012 Spring Plant Sale - Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who made the 2012 Spring Plant Sale successful! Volunteers, vendors, special guests, and most of all, everyone who came and bought plants!

Coming Events

Annual Planting Day: Thursday, May 24th

Volunteers are needed! Everyone is welcome to join in our fun morning as we plant thousands of flowers for the summer garden beds. All abilities welcome. Participants are rewarded with a delicious lunch and door prizes! Please leave a message for Head Gardener, Wilma Kruger, to register 250-494-6385, so we have a head count for lunch!

Painting en Plein Air: Saturday, June 9, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens hosts the Penticton Art Gallery.
Everyone is welcome to wander through the Gardens and watch Okanagan artists paint
outdoors "en plein air" in the Gardens.

21st Anniversary Tea: Saturday, July 14, 12:00 - 2:30 p.m.
